Terms and Conditions for Lagos Tour

Welcome to Homeland Intercontinental, Concept Limited, a travel service provider offering exciting tours in Lagos, Nigeria. By booking a tour through our website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your booking.
1. General Information
1.1 About Us:
HOMELAND INTERCONTINENTAL CONCEPT LIMITED ("we", "us", or "our") operates a travel booking platform (Visit Our Lagos) offering tours and experiences in Lagos, Nigeria. The 10-day tour package includes various activities, accommodations, meals, and transportation as described in the tour itinerary provided.
1.2 Eligibility:
You must be at least 18 years of age or have legal parental/guardian consent to use our website and book a tour. By booking, you represent that you are of legal age or have obtained the necessary consent.
1.3 Booking and Registration:
To book a tour, you will need to complete the online booking form on our website. You must provide accurate and up-to-date information. By submitting your booking request, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Tour Details
2.1 Tour Package:
The 10-day Lagos tour package includes accommodation, daily meals, transport between tour sites, and a guided tour. The exact itinerary will be provided at the time of booking, which may be subject to change based on availability or unforeseen circumstances.
2.2 Inclusions and Exclusions:
The tour includes:
- Accommodation (standard rooms in selected hotels)
- All specified meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
- Airport transfers (on specified arrival and departure dates)
- Local transportation during the tour
- Activities and excursions as per the itinerary
- Services of a professional guide/concierge throughout the tour
The tour does not include:
- Flights to and from Lagos
- Personal expenses (e.g., souvenirs, additional meals, tips, etc.)
- Travel insurance
- Visa fees (if applicable)
- Any items not specifically mentioned in the itinerary
3. Booking and Payment
3.1 Booking Confirmation:
Your booking will be confirmed once we receive your deposit payment or full payment as required. A confirmation email with your booking details will be sent to you.
3.2 Payment Terms:
A deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking and the remaining 70% is to be paid 14 days till the tour departure date. 100% payment is required if the booking is made 14 days or less before the departure date. If the full payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and apply cancellation fees as outlined below.
3.3 Pricing:
Prices are subject to change due to exchange rate fluctuations, government taxes, or other external factors. We will notify you in the event of any price change before confirming your booking.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
4.1 Cancellations by You:
If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing. The following cancellation fees apply:
- Cancellations made 7 days before the tour departure date will not be honored.
- Cancellations made 10 days or less before the tour departure date: no refund.
4.2 Cancellations by Us:
We reserve the right to cancel the tour in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, political instability, or other force majeure events. If we cancel the tour, you will receive a full refund. In no event will we be liable for any additional costs incurred by you (e.g., flight changes, accommodation bookings, insurance payments).
4.3 No Refund for No-Show:
If you do not show up on the day of departure/arrival or fail to join the tour without any proper communication, no refund will be issued.
5. Tour Modifications
5.1 Itinerary Changes:
While we make every effort to adhere to the published itinerary, we reserve the right to make changes to the schedule, accommodation, or activities due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, transportation delays, or operational issues. Any significant changes will be communicated to you as soon as possible.
5.2 Customer Requests for Modifications:
Any requests for changes or special arrangements must be submitted in writing and are subject to availability and additional costs.
6. Travel Insurance
We highly recommend that all travelers purchase travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, medical emergencies, lost luggage, and other potential disruptions. Travel insurance is not included in the tour package.
7. Responsibilities of Participants
7.1 Health and Fitness:
By booking the tour, you confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to participate in the planned activities. Some activities may require a certain level of fitness or mobility. It is your responsibility to ensure that you can participate in the tour and activities.
7.2 Code of Conduct:
You agree to behave responsibly and respectfully toward other participants, our staff, and the local community. Any participant who disrupts the tour or violates local laws may be removed from the tour at their own expense, with no refund provided.
7.3 Travel Documentation:
It is your responsibility to ensure you have valid travel documentation, including passports, visas (if applicable), and any necessary vaccinations and medical reports. We are not responsible for any issues arising from incomplete or incorrect documentation.
8. Liability and Disclaimers
8.1 Limitation of Liability:
We act as an intermediary between you and the various service providers (hotels, airlines, activity providers). While we strive to ensure a quality experience, we are not liable for any direct or indirect losses, injuries, or damages that may arise during the tour.
8.2 Force Majeure:
We will not be held responsible for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, civil unrest, or other "force majeure" events.
8.3 Personal Property:
We are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property during the tour. It is advisable to carry travel insurance that covers lost or stolen property.
9. Data Protection and Privacy
9.1 Personal Information:
We respect your privacy and will only use your personal information for the purpose of processing your booking and delivering the tour. Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required for the tour (e.g., hotels, airlines).
9.2 Security:
We take reasonable precautions to protect your personal information. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Maryland, USA and any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms will be resolved in the appropriate courts of the United States.
11. Amendments
We reserve the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and they will apply to all new bookings made after the effective date of the amendment.
